Common License Errors
Invalid License Key
Cause: Typo in license key, or key revoked.
Fix: Copy-paste license from purchase email. Don't type manually.
Activation Limit Reached
Cause: License used on maximum allowed domains.
Fix: Deactivate from unused sites, or upgrade license tier.
Unable to Connect to Server
Cause: Firewall blocking activation server, no SSL, or localhost.
Fix:
- Ensure HTTPS enabled
- Whitelist api.premiumpricingtables.com
- For localhost, use creator mode
💡 Creator Mode: For local development, add this to wp-config.php:
define('PPT_CREATOR_MODE', true);
This bypasses license checks on staging/dev sites.
Verifying License Status
- WordPress → Premium Pricing Tables → License
- Check status indicator
- View activation count
- See expiry date
